How to get access to control signals?
You can get control signals for ON/OFF online in three different ways:
  • IC-Meter cable 9022 - Cable from IC-Meter Box which delivers 5V (ON) or 0V (OFF) or connects or cuts an electric circuit powered by external supply
  • IC-Meter cable 9024 - Cable from IC-Meter Box which delivers 5V/0% by a female-USB port, to control 230V power strip - ‘Elspareskinne’ in Danish
  • Public API http://www.ic-meter.com/public-api/

Was your IC-Meter Box replaced?
If an IC-Meter box is replaced e.g. because it is defect or lacks features, this setting allows entering the Box ID of the new box.
This will keep the existing data, location and other metadata, while retrieving new box measurements from the new IC-Meter box.
If the old box is still functional this will detach the old physical IC-Meter box from its old data. Please be careful.

My Zones

You can define Zones in a Building, where a Zone is defined by one, some or all Units in a Building. A Zone defines the area (Units) that is supported by i.a. an Energy Meter or a Control Device for Ventilation Control. You can operate with a number of Zones and one Unit can be a part of several Zones.

Create one Zone for each Unit in Building
This function automatically creates one Zone for each Unit. Zone Name is copied from Unit Name. You can reuse this function if you have defined new Units, but then the Zone and Unit name must remain the same!

You can define your own Groups. A Group is a selection of Buildings and/or Units (rooms or apartments). Groups make it easy to view and analyze indoor climate, especially if you have a lot of Buildings and Units. A Unit and a Building can be a part of several Groups at the same time. It’s even possible to define a Group containing other Groups.

Example: You can collect all Buildings that belong to the same departments in Groups, and then define an Organization Group that includes all department Groups. But you can also define Groups as mix of selected Units and Buildings. For instance Buildings and/or Units that are a part of a service contract or have the highest rate of complaints regarding indoor climate.
